Santana, Dominique, and Kajuana have been friends since elementary school. Now as grown women with successful careers it seems that they all are praying for success in their relationships.
Santana is a 27 year old CEO of a thriving publishing company. Everything that she has accomplished in her career she attributes it all to her love for God, hard work, and dedication. She has her best friends that have been with her through thick and thin and are always there for her. All that’s missing is someone to spend her life with. When she meets the handsome Cortez Harper, she feels like he may very well be the one but only if he can prove to her that he wants her for who she is and not for how many zeros she has in her bank account.
Dominique’s walk has not been a very straight one with several detours that have caused her to feel loss along the way. But as she continues to cleans up her life and walk boldly in Christ, she meets Najir, the nephew of one of her clients who makes her stop and want to continue down the path with him. Is Najir willing to walk in faith with her or will her past cause him to leave her on new found journey to finding the love of the kingdom?
Kajuana is the one who is happily married out of the trio, at least that’s what they all thought. Her husband Michael is starting to exhibit signs of stepping out on their marriage and returning to his drug use. Kajuana has helped Michael before to conquer the drugs but can she do it again? Kajuana promised to love Michael through good times and in bad. But, it seems to Kajuana and Michael that the bad times are outweighing the good and the vows they took are beginning to break.

Yes I cried ....them church women reminded me of my Grandmother. Yes I had a praying, preach, ministering Grandmother that raised not only her children but six grandchildren and one grant grandbaby.
This read touched me in many ways.
Definitely need to sedfast, patient and listen and talk more first to the Lord.
These ladies journey spook volume
This was a great, well written story of love, loyalty and forgiveness. Dominique found success in her salon but trouble letting go of her past transgressions. Najir liked her so much but can he get past her past. Santana and Cortez were from opposite sides but found love in each other. They were my favorite. Kajuana loved her husband so much but he has been doing shady things. Will they be able to forgive and move forward. All of these characters have one thing in common. Their relationship with God.
I enjoyed this book. It was short but good. I did feel as though it was incomplete. I wish some of the chapters would’ve went into more detail or been more thorough. It would get to a good part and then the chapter would just end and the next chapter would be some time later. Just my opinion. Santana and Cortez were cute. The instant attraction and connection definitely was God. I’m glad that Kajuana and Micheal worked their marriage out. I was waiting for a long time to see what it was that he did. He didn’t explain hisself well at all. Dominique was funny lol. I’m glad that Najir didn’t hold her past against her. Everyone has one and no one is perfect. It’s hard to be vulnerable enough to someone else and put up with judgement from others so I’m glad they both were able to see what God had for them.
This is the first time I've ever read a story like this. Meaning there was no drama well there was a little but it wasn't over the top. I must say I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the book. I am so used to reading books where the men are alphas and take charge type of guys that I almost forgot regular guys do exist and can be good guys too. The friendship between the three women Santana, Dominique and Kajuana is remarkable and I loved the sisterhood they shared and how they could depend on one another no matter what. I thought Santana was wrong for keeping the secret from Cortez while I understood her reasoning a lie is still a like and she was wrong for going behind his back doing what she did thinking he wouldn't find out. He was a little childish with the way he was acting and should have just told her she was dead wrong and why he felt the way he did I was glad that granny broke it down for him. Michael almost messed up his marriage for his actions and if I were Kajuana I would have reacted the same way in addition to a little Dominique on the side but thankfully he had a determination not to lose his wife and came clean with his mistakes. Najir he was probably my favorite character he knew from the beginning Dominique was who he wanted he was just hesitant to take it there with her because of how she carried behaved and the things that people said about her but once he understood that it was not his place to judge her but to be there for her he was completely and there was nothing and no one that would stop him from being the man she needed and to help her grow. I really liked the story and I think I may read more from this author.
A wonderful read with deserved endings for the characters. A wonderful writer. Never disappointed with her work.
To sum it up, this a love story with ups and downs that every relationship has and God is right in the mix of it all. I was happy that Dominique got the love and closure that she needed.
Once again Denora has written another great book! I enjoyed how the characters evolved from the beginning to end. I also like how the author breaks down the word for us to understand. I am sure that alot of women can relate to Tana, Kay and Dominique. It is a good stand-alone. And that Samson still needs prayer!
