So this is Luke's 7th book of poetry, and I must say that his ability to write is growing right along with his physical self! If you've lived a 'normal' life with joy and heartbreak interspersed throughout, there will be something here that will resonate within you. My favorites in this collection are the 2 separate aspects of 'Disappearing Youth I & II', 'Take A Walk With Me', & 'Homecoming', from the 'The Brain' part of the book, and then 'Easy', 'Black Sheep', 'Self-Destruct to Reconstruct', 'Damaged Goods', & 'Not the Bad Guy' from 'The Heart' section. Luke, all I can say is keep up the great work, and I wait patiently for the next poetry book, also the novella "Three Crowns" when it is complete!!Product details

Mr. Wood's work is like looking through a prism..different aspects of life are touched on very deftly here. From love to hate to sadness--he deals with raw emotion with raw words. My personal favorites are Or.... Painting Us, Address It, This One's For You. Last, but by no means least is one dealing with loss--Homecoming. Keep up the good Work, Luke.
