If you haven't read the first two Fool's books, you probably should do so first. And if you have read them both, you should love this one.
(After all, you must have liked the first one, before you decided to buy the second one, unless you are a "I like to read books I hate" kind of person. In which case, you would probably love this third one as well. Kind of a win-win for you there.)
NOTE: Pretty much everybody gets what they deserve by the end. If you only like tragedies do NOT get this book.

The flow of the story is much better from the first book, the quirky humor also flows better resulting in a more satisfying reading experience.
This is a really good book, humorous and fun to read, with a real plot, too. The protagonist is real cool, handles everything with panache. You'll like him. Oh, and it turns out he's an AI. There's another character named Phil, too, who's okay, I guess, but who needs a lot of help just to get through life. You might like him. Or, then again, you might like his sister.
Another good book by J. Battle. Even though this was an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) that he requested to be proofread, it was quite enjoyable. His way of describing things makes you feel like you are right there part of the action or even in the same room as the characters he is writing about. This makes reading much more fun when an author is able to do that to their reader. I hope that there will be more in this series, because I think I have gotten hooked into them.
